In light of the current pandemic situation and in accordance with current New Jersey Youth Soccer, State, Local and Federal government guidelines on social distancing, Newton United will not be fielding recreation teams in the Sussex county youth league for the spring 2020 season. This decision was not easy and will be disappointing to many, especially the kids. This decision was reached after communication with all clubs involved and will mean that there is no recreation season for the league this spring.
Please be assured that everyone who was registered for the season will receive a full refund. We are currently working with our card processing company to make this happen as soon as possible. If you paid by check you will be refunded by check. We appreciate your patience with us at this time as we work through this. All of the Newton United volunteers wish our players and parents a safe spring and summer and we join you in looking forward to soccer in the fall.
With Regards to TravelMorris County Youth Soccer Assoc. will be providing an update to the board on the status of the travel soccer season on 4/20. Newton United will be posting an update to travel registrants based on that update.
