Coaches Background Checks
All Coaches coaching for Newton United need to have a background check in place prior to taking the field with any travel or recreation team. Ordinances in all 3 towns require this of us. All coaches who are residents of either Andover, Newton or any other town other than Green can use the link below to arrange their background check. There is an associated fee of $26.00. Payment is made at the time of your appointment. There is now an additional charge of $18.95 for the fingerprinting portion of this process. This is only for residents of Newton and Andover. All costs for Green residents are covered by the town of Green. You can make this payment using the link below Once the check is completed you can search for your name on the same website. We are listed on the Green Township and Andover/Newton Town lists. If you are a resident of Green township please use the separate code when making your appointment, using the same link.

Both payments Must be made in order for you to appear on the Approved list. One is for the background check and one is for the actual fingerprinting.

If you need to be reimbursed for the cost of your background check and fingerprinting the club is more than happy to do this for you. Please just let us know and we will mail you a check.

Green Instructions
Click on fingerprinting tab
Click on the link for IdentoGo
It will ask for a code. You are a volunteer. Type 2F1J3Y
Click go schedule/manage appointment
Fill in your information
Next screen it will ask you for a Case Number Green is U16001
Follow the next screens through you citizenship, personal information and address.
Select which form of documentation you will bring with you as identification.
This will now allow you to enter the scheduling system.
If it says no appointments available. Use the drop down and it will give you the next available date.
Game Cancellations
All game cancellations need to go through our designated referee contact. No one is to contact the referee Assignor directly. If you need to cancel your game for any reason your first call is to our referee contact who will arrange for the referee cancellation , This must done be done by Wednesday night of the upcoming game we will be charged if a referee shows up to a game that has been cancelled. If you need to cancel or reschedule a game you need to contact your opposing coach to let them know and make arrangements if possible to make it up. If the game in question is your home game The referee is your responsibility Once arrangements have been made for a make up you then need to call the contact and they will make and confirm with you that a referee will be there. This should be done as early in the week as possible as the referees are assigned for Saturday on Wednesday. This is only your responsibility with Home games , away games are taken care of by the other team. Our current referee contact is Luke Sayner his Phone number is 8622669676
Rain Cancellations
Rain cancellations can be made up to 2 hours prior to the game. If it looks like rain on Friday night you may cancel then. If you wish to wait till Saturday morning you must call and cancel 2 hours before your scheduled start. Games can be played in the rain it is up to you whether or not you wish to play. In the event that one of the towns closes their fields you will be notified by email.
